Postie Who Delivered In The Ring At Comonwealth Games Says Royal Mail Are Knock

Now here's and example of flexible working at it's most successful best.

Part-time postman Charlie Flynn who also doubles up as a boxer, won a gold medal in the ring at the Commonwealth Games.
and was then back at work with The Royal Mail three days later!

After seeing off Northern Ireland's Joe Fitzpatrick to take the Commonwealth lightweight title, the 20 year old Scot gave thanks to all those who had helped him along the way — including a list of colleagues from the mail distribution centre he works at.

On Tuesday just gone he turned up at the sorting office with his own very special delivery — his gold medal.

"I'm working part-time and fitting my training in, and still going out to beat these guys," said Flynn.

"The Royal Mail have been absolutely first class with me. They give me time off and get me my boxing kit."

Hats off to the Royal Mail for taking a very flexible approach and creating a vociferously loyal and happy employee in the process.
