Apparently there's a very high profile job share in the offing.
Speculation that mayor of London Boris Johnson may seek a return to parliament as an MP in 2015 was rife last week.
Bo Jo is allegedly seeking to complete his final year as mayor whilst also also representing a London constituency in the Commons.
Labour’s last mayor, Ken Livingstone also did this and split his time between being an MP and mayor of London but Johnson has faced criticism claiming that he can't have his eyes on two balls at once - as it were.
So what's the solution to this Dick Whittington Dilemma?
A job share of course.
Last summer saw the two top lawyers at Lloyd's Banking Group enter into a job share and as attitudes to flexible working continue to change, Boris could well be in with a shout.
But who would make the perfect mayoral partner for him?
